I took this class thinking it was just going to fulfill a GE but I actually really liked it. I may even want to pursue taking a different course related to this field. It was really eye opening to see how the world is affected by us and how we do things, such as litter, drive our gas-filled cars, and how we just keep buying plastic reusable bags and then throwing them out instead of REUSING them, like we should. Anyways Wendy St. John was very passionate about this subject which made it more easier to learn about and focus on for lecture. Overall, I think this class was super fun and I am glad I went out on a whim and took this in the first place.

Wendy is the best Biology teacher I have ever had. Thanks to her I have a better understanding in one of my weakest subjects. She makes class enjoyable and interesting because she clearly has a passion for what she is talking about. Her energy rubs off on you and I love her to bits.

People were always able to interject their thoughts about what was being said and would be greeted with a well thought out answer. More often than not did I find myself cracking up at Wendy’s loony demeanor and I wish more people could be like this! Ms. St John is probably one of the best professors here at Sonoma State University. She was very thorough and clear with all her assignments. Her slides were engaging and class was never boring.
