Professor St. John is by far one of the most approachable and knowledgeable teachers I have had in my school career. I took this class thinking it was just going to fulfill a GE but I actually really liked it. I may even want to pursue taking a different course related to this field. It was really eye opening to see how the world is affected by us and how we do things, such as litter, drive our gas-filled cars, and how we just keep buying plastic reusable bags and then throwing them out instead of REUSING them, like we should. Anyways Wendy St. John was very passionate about this subject which made it more easier to learn about and focus on for lecture. Overall, I think this class was super fun and I am glad I went out on a whim and took this in the first place.

Wendy is the best Biology teacher I have ever had. Thanks to her I have a better understanding in one of my weakest subjects. She makes class enjoyable and interesting because she clearly has a passion for what she is talking about. Her energy rubs off on you and I love her to bits.

People were always able to interject their thoughts about what was being said and would be greeted with a well thought out answer. This class was made simple by how thorough she was and her homework assignments really reinforced what happened in class. I would love to have this teacher in the future.

Sonoma State and the Biology department are so lucky to have Wendy St. John on their bill. She is so full of zest for not only Biology, but for life! And it is so infectious! More often than not did I find myself cracking up at Wendy’s loony demeanor and I wish more people could be like this! Professor St. John is probably my favorite professor. I look forward to going to class because of her. She is the nicest, most understanding professor I have had. The way she displays the information is very effective and her enthusiasm and humor make me enjoy learning the material. Give this lady a raise or something because she is amazing!! Ms. St John is probably one of the best professors here at Sonoma State University. She was very thorough and clear with all her assignments. Her slides were engaging and class was never boring.
