I took this class thinking it was just going to fulfill a GE but I actually really liked it. I may even want to pursue taking a different course related to this field. It was really eye opening to see how the world is affected by us and how we do things, such as litter, drive our gas-filled cars, and how we just keep buying plastic reusable bags and then throwing them out instead of REUSING them, like we should. Anyways Wendy St. John was very passionate about this subject which made it more easier to learn about and focus on for lecture. Overall, I think this class was super fun and I am glad I went out on a whim and took this in the first place.

I had Ms. St. John as my professor for Bio 115 and she was amazing. Everyday she came to class with a smile on her face and she was always excited to be there making it a enjoyable class to be in. As a freshman, it was refreshing I felt welcomed, and it felt safe. She not only prepared us for exams she gave us homework that pertained to our exams making it easy for me to learn. Over all she’s great and would take a class with her again and recommend her class to everyone.

People were always able to interject their thoughts about what was being said and would be greeted with a well thought out answer. This class was made simple by how thorough she was and her homework assignments really reinforced what happened in class. I would love to have this teacher in the future.

Sonoma State and the Biology department are so lucky to have Wendy St. John on their bill. She is so full of zest for not only Biology, but for life! And it is so infectious! More often than not did I find myself cracking up at Wendy’s loony demeanor and I wish more people could be like this! The way she displays the information is very effective and her enthusiasm and humor make me enjoy learning the material. Give this lady a raise or something because she is amazing!! Ms. St John is probably one of the best professors here at Sonoma State University. She was very thorough and clear with all her assignments. Her slides were engaging and class was never boring.
